Equity Counseling Services offers mental health counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, couples, teens, and families. ECS is an LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health practice. ECS also offers post-graduate supervision for LMFT-Associates licensed in the State of Texas.
Our location allows us to serve directly those seeking therapy or counseling in the Great State of Texas (virtual or in-person) and the State of Florida (virtual only).

I am a licensed social worker (LMSW) in Houston, Texas. I graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s in social work from Indiana University and went on to pursue my master’s with them as well. I identify as an Afro-Latina women who enjoys working with clients, women and children of color who have experienced some form of mental, emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
I’m Dedicated to helping my clients work through past or current experiences that cause feelings of self-doubt, depression, anxiety, and shame. I also specialize in working with children who struggle with school issues that may cause anxiety, low self-esteem and/or suicidal ideation.
I utilize narrative theory, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and attachment theory as the bases for my therapeutic approach. Throughout my mental health career, I have gained experience working in crisis management, substance use, domestic violence and severe mental health crises.
As your therapist, my goal is to ensure you feel heard, understood, and empowered. We will work together in a non-judgmental way to recognize you can achieve fulfillment in your life's journey.

I am a graduate student pursuing my Master of Education in Counseling and Development with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). My journey toward becoming a therapist began with a deep belief in the importance of building healthier relationships with families who struggle with acceptance of their loved ones sexuality. I am passionate towards teens' mental health and helping them better understand themselves and their sexuality and gender identity. I also have a passion to work with couples who want to rebuild trust in their relationship after abuse or infidelity. I dedicate time to building my clinical skills to ensure I am providing the best non-judgmental and affirming care for those who trust me to be their therapist on their healing journey.
