Despite your efforts to feel better, you haven’t found a solution that fully works. Something is missing and you feel detached, disengaged, and isolated. You have the desire to move forward but are feeling stuck. I understand how this can cloud your sense of direction. As your proud Black therapist, I love to foster a sense of hope for my clients. I provide a safe space for self-expression so you can heal without judgement. No matter your personal fog, I'm commitment to help you gain the clarity that you need. I believe in you even on the days that you forget to believe in yourself.
I would like to share with you my professional trajectory. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and LGBTQIA+ studies. After graduating, I immediately entered the mental health field assisting youth, adults, and families with various life goals in different sections of their lives. I attended the intensive three-year program at Our Lady of the Lake University where I received my Master’s in psychology. I have years of experience volunteering with LGBTQIA+ youth to build a better future for them and their families. My training and experience has enhanced my knowledge and approach to working in mental health.
